A semi permanent technique for enhancing the appearance of the eyebrows, in which pigment is scratched into the skin in fine, short strokes resembling hair, using a hand tool with a blade formed of tiny needles. Microblading is typically used on eyebrows to create, enhance or reshape their appearance in terms of both shape and color. It deposits pigment into the upper region of the dermis, so it fades more rapidly than traditional tattooing techniques, which deposit pigment deeper. This is for the client who has sparse brows, and wants to create a fuller look. Two sessions are required - the initial treatment then a touch up 8 weeks later.
Lasts 1-3 years
